Me- "You're so cute, all dolled up!"
Courtney- (suddenly upset) "No, I'm not. YOU'RE all gobbled up!"
(Playing hide and seek with her friend, Ava. Ava jumps." out and yells 'Boo!')
Courtney- "AH! You scared the flowers out of me!!"
Me- "You have a cute little bum."
Courtney- "Yah, and you have a big squishy bum!"
(Us sitting on deck at night- bat flies overhead and I squeal."
Courtney- (dead serious) "I'm here. I'll protect you.")
Courtney- "Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight. I wish for all the other stars to come out."
(looking up at sky expectantly)
"Please?"
(I stub my toe)
Me- "Ow!"
Courtney- "Haa... how'd that feel?"
Me- "Star light"
Courtney- "Star bright"
Me- "First star I see tonight."
Courtney- "I wish I may"
Me- "I wish I might"
Courtney- "Have this wish I wish tonight"
Me- "I wish Baby Alex would come out and I would be skinny again."
Courtney- "Um mom... i don't think just a star is going to be able to do that..."
