Yep, I know.

Today is September 23. October is still 7 days away. My background is Halloween. I'm early, I know. But you know what, I've gone 23 days of Fall without a single Fall decoration in my home (due to it all being buried in the very back of the storage unit...*sigh*) and I'm really needing myself something Fally right about now! And since October is just a week away... why not? (At least I haven't posted my Halloween playlist yet!)

(Now I'm in the mood for hot apple cider and pumpkin cookies.)

Though, I've got to explain. My blog has been lacking lately. Not due to my lack of anything going on (heavens no! Moving and having a baby at the same time keeps you pretty well on your toes!), or laziness, or what have you, but because I can NOT for the life of me, get blogger to cooperate with me. Why, Blogger, Why? And why are you picking on just me? Nobody else is having such said problems.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping and praying that once the cable guy comes back to drill a new hole through the floor so I can hook up my computer to the internet, rather than use my husband's laptop, that all of my blogging woes will be magically cured. (How's that for a run-on sentence?)

So in the meanwhile, my blog shall sit in bits and pieces with no colorful pops and no correct spacing (see Courtney's funnies down below!)... And being the control neat freak I am, you can only imagine how badly that irritates me to look at that and see it in a jumbled mess!

One more thing that's driving me crazy? I can't highlight. What on earth? Is this a laptop problem? Or is it my settings? What is it? PRAY TELL, what is going on?!

So for those of you who have asked me why my blog has, shall we say, sucked, as of lately, now you know. My brain can't handle the disorganized chaos the ensues every time I try and post. (Posts that sometime, yes, will post, but more often than not, will NOT post. Posts that find it humorous to hide in a corner and make themselves disappear and see how long it takes before my head explodes trying to find them!)

So for my sanity, lets all pray once the cable guy hooks up the internet to my actual computer, that'll solve the problem! And until then, at least I can look at my spunky fun Halloween background and smile at the only fallish thing in my house right now.

Courtney- "AH! You scared the flowers out of me!!"

Me- "You have a cute little bum."

Courtney- "Yah, and you have a big squishy bum!"

(Us sitting on deck at night- bat flies overhead and I squeal."

Courtney- (dead serious) "I'm here. I'll protect you.")

(looking up at sky expectantly)

Me- "Ow!"

Courtney- "Haa... how'd that feel?"

Me- "Star light"

Me- "I wish Baby Alex would come out and I would be skinny again."

Courtney- "Um mom... i don't think just a star is going to be able to do that..."

Blogger Problems

So I've been having major problems with blogger for the last month.  It wouldn't let me post anything, and now it's saying I have to update it.  In doing so, I now can't figure anything out, and it still won't even let me change my background. (Or do much of anything else).

I have a billion things to blog about, so just know I haven't completely abandoned the blogging world!  Once things get figured out here, and I'm up and running again, then I'll do an entire month's plus catch up!

With that, I'll sign off.  Wish me luck with the birth of Baby Alex tomorrow! We're going in bright and early in the morning to be induced.  Hopefully pics of our new little monkey will be able to be posted soon!
