"That Phase"

We have officially entered "That Phase". You know, the one where as a good mother, you spend time picking out a darling little outfit for your toddler to wear, one that she will look so darn cute in. And then she comes in, gives your thoughtful outfit a smirk and says, "Here, I'll do it." She pulls her chair over to her closet and begins sorting through to find the oddest little outfit you can possibly manage to put together, and puts it on, beaming with pride.

And this is the outfit she insists on wearing all day, especially if it happens to be a day where we need to actually go out in public.

We've also hit that "I want my hair down, don't brush it!" phase. So not only does my little girl look like a zebra today, (from head to toe, dress up shoes included!) She's also sporting the Orphan Hairdo and crazed crack-face expression.

Ladies and Gentleman: My daughter. Whom I claim proudly :)

(p.s. Yesterday she looked like a walking easter egg.)

Awww! I love zebras!! :)
She is adorable!
Audrey has been in that stage for a while and yes, it gets interesting. Love it!! She is obsessed with wrapping her HEAD up in a scarf. (not her neck......her head) So I am VERY excited for Summer to come and make it too hot for her to do that. :)

She is so hot! At least she's trying to coordinate. Rylee and I have a deal, which is when she's home and just chilling she can wear whatever she wants, but when it's time to go it's time to change. And I love the hair down thing, when I ask what kind of hairstyle Ry wants she always replies "Ariel's". I hardly ever give in, a day with hair down makes for 30 minutes of brushing out tangles the next day.

I think her outfit is so awesome! Way cute. Isa has been going through that same phase for about a year now and I don't see it ending any time soon. I am so glad her school has a uniform because it would be a serious fight every morning trying to change her mind. I let her wear whatever play clothes she wants to after school though- yesterday she chose Hyrum's clothes. She looked like an orphan :)
