3 years ago today at 3:31 am I received the most amazing wonderful gift that I thank my Heavenly Father every night for. Here is my happy smiling 3 year old.
My sister, Melina, is completely insanely talented with her cake making, so of course she was put in charge of Courtney's cake. It turned out fabulous! Even better than I had imagined. Thank you so so much, Melina, we loved it!!

Courtney got a princess Chutes and Ladders game from Grandma Hansen, and apparently you're allowed to cheat on your birthday, because she won every time we played tonight!

And Grandpa. And for those of you who are secretly wondering, but are too polite to ask, no he doesn't always look like that. He has Dip Schmuck Camera syndrome. As soon as the camera comes out, his face contorts to Dip Schmuck. He's had it for as long as I can remember....

After the party, it was back to the cake. She had to lick clean the backs of all the flowers and make sure there was no frosting left on them.

The cake Melina made is absolutely fabulous!! My mouth dropped open when I saw the picture of it! I love it! Courtney's cake is amazing!! I also couldn't believe how many presents Courtney got!!! :) I just love her genuine humongous smile when she's standing next to all those presents!!! Love it!
