Hooray for Spray Park! Courtney waiting patiently in line with her $1.
I stuck her on the little pony thinking she was a little kid...little pony, right? Nope, it turned out to be a bit of a baby ride. Next time she'll ride the BIG pony! She loved it anyway, though.
Spending some time at Town and Country Gardens.
Always my happy boy.
Except when he's super tired. I put him in his high chair, turned around to get his lunch, turned back around towards him and he was out cold. With his fuzzy. Wherever Bubba goes, goes the fuzzy.
And here we have my rocker baby. Awesome mohawk, yes?
Alex's first haircut. Poor boy didn't know what to think. Look at that sad little face!
Thank you, Grandpa!
Poor Belle. Poor poor Belle who just sits there and takes it. Tail pulling, ear yanking, fur removal...
Our first slip and slide of the summer... which completely blew up and exploded within 2 seconds of turning the water on. Awesome. Cue the needle and thread and duct tape! (I kid you not, worked like a charm!)
So for those of you who have visited our humble little abode, you know what a make-shift storage unit Alex's room has been. If it doesn't fit elsewhere...throw it in Alex's room! But being the OCD neat freak that I am, it drove me absolutely CRAZY just looking at the outside of that door knowing of the monster that lay within. So I made things work, and turned it into our little Bubba's nursery. Whew! Now I can breathe.
There's still excess furniture in there that Jeremy won't let me throw out, but it's still a major improvement :)
Our summer has been filled with walks to the park for picnics...
bike rides with friends...
And fishing with Daddy...
while I twiddle my thumbs and carve pictures and initials into logs becauses I don't fish!
We saw this deer on our way back home. We think it was a mommy with a baby hidden in the field.
We're loving Rexburg and all the new friends we've made. Even Alex is making little friends...
And learning to climb up things he shouldn't while Momma isn't looking.
That wraps up the contents of my camera for the past few months. Hope you enjoyed catching up with us!
