facebook

Alright, so Jeremy got me set up with a facebook account (he does it, as well) and all I have to say is, "I don't get it." seriously, I am so confused. I have no idea how any of it works, I post a comment and I have no idea where it goes and who's seeing it. Other people's stuff is on my page, which confuses me, (where's my stuff??) and so far it's just been a big headache! I would just say phooey and throw it out, but EVERYBODY is doing it! it's like the new 'thing' and I don't want to be a loser not doing the new thing everybody else is doing! Even old people know how to do it. How do they understand it and i don't?? I feel dumb.

I tried it TWO times and thought the same thing. (and I also thought it was pointless because why not just email who you want to talk to.......where NO ONE else can see it? It all just seams like a popularity contest.)
So good luck. I don't care for it......but that is because I am lame. ha ha!

I am confused also. Do I now have to check my blog & facebook? I'm not that popular! You are the one to get me started on both.

I just set up a facebook acount too and I had/have no idea how it works. I have figured out a few things but for the most part I think it is a popularity contest too, and I like blogging much better. It does seem like everyone is into facebook though and it is the only way I have been able to find a few of my old friends. It is very frustrating.

I agree with the whole confusing part. I don't get it either. I'm just waiting for Conan O'Brien's prophesy to come true,"In the year 3000 YouTube, Twitter & Facebook will merge into one super time wasting website called YouTwitFace."

haha. The best thing about Facebook is reconnecting with people you haven't been able to find for years. There is a little bit about Facebook that I don't care for, but I love having the connections. I didn't get it at first either. It's okay!
