Last summer we put a bird feeder house in our flower garden out front. We get a lot of birds, and Courtney loves to sit in the front window and point and say "birdie, daddy, birdie, mama, BIRDIE!!!" It's pretty cute. And lately it's been attracting one certain little furry friend. Who needs the zoo when you have a bird feeder? (oh and p.s, you think its a boy or a girl squirrel ...take a close look ((if you know what i mean)) and tell me what you think-- i'm wanting to give it a name, but not sure which way to go!)

I love squirrels coming out in the spring time. It means I get to break out my .22 and make short work of them! No, I am not joking, I love popping ground squirrels. You should name him after a gun, just like your dog:) Maybe Walther, Marlin, Cricket.
I'm laughing at what your cousin wrote. I'm not sure if your dad would appreciate that though. WE all know how much he loves his furry friends.

Natalie~ Jeremy says you're his favorite of all my cousins. he loves that you shoot squirrels on the way to your mailbox. you two would get along quite nicely.
Mallena is right...Dad would definitely not appreciate your squirrel getting "popped". He would soon have it eating out of his hand.
I'de say it is a transvestite. It looks like both so i would name it Jesse Ka Hansen.
If you want to know it's gender for sure...put out a few nuts and see if it goes for them. If it does, it's a girl. If it doesn't, it's a boy. If it seems unsure about the nuts.....he's gay.
