A Valentines Day Party

The day before Valentines Day I decided to have an impromptu V-Day party the next day, so i called everyone up and invited them to come on over.

Jeremy went out and got us some pizzas and pop. Oma brought Valentines Day heart straws (which double as whistles, come to find out!) to stick in their cups. (plus cute little bracelets for the girls and a toy car for Brigham). It was a yummy lunch! After lunch we tried watching Madagascar 2, but they were more interested in playing instead. So they all headed upstairs and played in the play room for a while. Then they came downstairs to decorate their Valentines Cookies.

Here they are in the always neat and tidy play room.

Here's little Fairy Shay. It was the funniest thing. She and Courtney were upstairs and it was pretty quiet, so I went upstairs and saw that Shay had stripped down and put on a fairy dress.

Once everyone else saw that Shay was a fairy princess, they all wanted to dress up. Here's Prince Charming with his four beautiful princesses.

You are so good to let everyone come over and play. I love the girls all dressed up, and I bet Brigham was just wishing you had an outfit for him to wear, too!

Why oh why was my daughter the only one that was naked underneath her costume?

Thanks for putting together the party and watching my kids while we went out. You're such a great sister and aunt!

Such cute little princesses! You need a knight in shining armour costume for Brigham. They must have done that after I left. Way to go Shay! That last picture is a definite AWWWW! I love it.
